Angela Carranza

Angela Carranza first joined the Fresh Arts team in 2011 as an intern and has served as the Manager of Programs and Services since the summer of 2015. She is a cum laude graduate of the University of Houston with a BA in Art History and a minor in Studio Arts. After her studies, she traveled to over 20 states as a faux finisher and project coordinator for a corporate design firm in Austin, TX, which evolved into a nine-year-long career in the interior design field. Later as the long-time Project Director + Design Consultant for a small residential firm, Angela focused on art consultation and creative design solutions for high-end, small space interiors. As an experienced art consultant and curator, she began utilizing her artist and gallery relationships to independently provide art inventory and visualization services to private collectors.  Aside from art, Angela is also an active animal welfare advocate and community outreach volunteer for Barrio Dogs, Inc. where she utilizes her graphic design skills to save the world... one puppy at a time.
