Eve Smith completed a BA in Studio Arts in 2006 from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. While an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Rome, Italy in the summer of 2004. She was accepted as an artist in residence thru the Arkansas arts council in 2005 at which she taught in seven elementary schools in the Van Buren/Fort Smith area from 2006 thru 2008. She became the Director of Visual Arts of the Arts Center of the Ozarks in 2010 where she has curated multiple exhibitions, one being co curated Sensory Iconoclasts with Crystal Bridges Musuem of American Art, grown one of the largest summer visual arts camps in NWA and continues to champion visual arts site specific programs in the area. Her mediums include oil, watercolor, and mixed media having exhibited at the Center for Arts and Education in Van Buren, Ar; Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale, Ar; and the upcoming 2016 Art on the Creeks, Rogers, Ar. Today, she practices, teaches and is a vocal cheerleader for all the arts in NWA.
Tareneh Manning graduated a Summa Cum Laude Donaghey Scholar with a BA in English and Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000. She is currently a disobedient wife of twenty something years and retired taxi driver to two children who have aged out of that service. Painter, interior designer, realtor, candle- maker and volunteer addict. She currently serves on multiple nonprofit boards. As president of the board for the Arts Center of the Ozarks, her passion is transforming community through the arts; leading a charge to reimage arts as an economic and social developer. She believes arts saves lives!
