Argenta Arts District

Artist INC and M-AAA are excited to team up with the Argenta Arts Foundation to bring the Artist INC Live program to North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Argenta Arts Foundation builds local amenities and events, to promote the creative opportunities for citizens of Central Arkansas. We showcase the creative assets, environment and people of Central Arkansas on a Regional and National basis. Our Foundation is focused on bringing an understanding and appreciation of the myriad of artistic talents in our community. Through support of events such as 3rd Friday Art Walk, Argenta Acoustic Music Series, Arkansas Shakespeare Theater, the Film Society of Little Rock, Argenta Community Theater and Pot Luck & Poison Ivy. AAF showcases the achievements and varied talents of artists for the enjoyment of all our residents and visitors alike.

Artist INC Live Argenta 2017

Eight weekly sessions will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Eligibility

Artist INC Live Argenta is open to artists of all disciplines who are residents of Arkansas, including performing, literary and visual artists.  Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, and may not be a degree-seeking student.  Due to the weekly in-person attendance required, Artist INC recommends that participants live within a 90-mile radius of Little Rock.

Applications are reviewed by representatives of the partnering organizations as well as artists and arts professionals in the field. The selected participants will reflect a balanced cross-section of artists from multiple disciplines and backgrounds. 

What Works Workshops

Want to learn more about what works for fine artists to create sustainable careers?  Come to one of the What Works workshops presented in Little Rock.  Artist INC will teach you the ten things that make the difference in the business end of a fine arts practice and answer your questions on topics from marketing to taxes to copyright.  This is also a great chance to meet the Artist INC Live Argenta Peer Facilitators and ask any questions you have about the Artist INC Live seminar.  
Two free What Works workshops in Little Rock will be held on June 12th and June 26th at the Laman Library Argenta Branch at 420 Main Street from 6-8PM.
