Artist's Survival Guide Workshop
Fractured Atlas is coming to Kansas City to help area artists focus on the "unsexy" side of their art. Learn about the services for artists offered through Fractured Atlas, as well as local, state, and national organizations. Fractured Atlas will answer questions about arts advocacy, civic engagement, fundraising, jobs in the arts, grant writing, social media, new technology, networking, emerging arts leadership, serving on a Board of Directors and more. So, come prepared with your questions!

About our Speaker
Adam J. Natale joined Fractured Atlas as the Director of Partnerships & Business Development in December 2005 and since has seen the organization grow immensely, with over 5,000 members joining within the past year. Adam spearheaded an innovative audience development program with organizations including Theatre Development Fund and High 5 Tickets to the Arts, and launched Fractured Atlas' online learning system and its arts insurance program. Adam is currently working on the development of ATHENA, a suite of open source software for arts organizations. He has served as a panelist and/or conducted presentations at several arts organizations, including: Theatre Communications Group, NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and Alternate ROOTS, among others. For Fractured Atlas' Open Arts Network, he has formed collaborative partnerships with 120+ arts organizations across the country. Prior to his position at Fractured Atlas, he served the Theater & Musical Theater disciplines at the National Endowment for the Arts. Adam has served as an Associate Producer with the New York Musical Theatre Festival, is a past member and chair of Americans for the Arts' Emerging Leader Council, and is a freelance theater/musical theater director. He is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society (SDC) and serves on the Board of Directors of off-Broadway's Red Bull Theater. He is a graduate of American University with a degree in Directing for Theatre and Film.
